Obstacle or Opportunity? You Get to Choose.

Life is continually nourishing, teaching and preparing us to live and express the best of ourselves.

Life also provides barriers, setbacks and obstacles that will challenge us in many ways.

Eventually, we come to a situation or circumstance that seems impossible.

Have you witnessed this in others or perhaps in your own life?

The appearance or perception of an external circumstance you believe cannot be overcome, bypassed or worked around feels like an absolute truth.

The situation can hit us at a deep level; it is not just in our brain; we may feel it in our heart, throat, stomach or other areas of our bodies.

This is an indication. It is an opportunity.

It is life and your entire being, showing, telling and holding you in a place that demands that you stop and sense what is happening inside you.

At some point, the work must transition from being externally focused and driven to become internally focused and necessitated.

The outer world and your inner environment are not working against you. They are both working to ensure you survive.

Not always, yet often, that insurmountable circumstance is perceived as a threat to your survival.

Survival. The things in our lives that allow us to survive will often hold us back from thriving.

That big obstacle is providing the impetus to stop - reprogram, retool and reboot so that you may move from survival to thriving.

This is not the time or place to override, bypass, deny, give away your power or treat symptoms.

It is a time and opportunity to do the work that will position and empower you to move out of survival and check in to thriving.

If you made it this far - if any of this makes sense, sounds familiar, or looks interesting - let’s talk.

I'd love to hear your thoughts.
