On July 19,1982.....
I started my first paying job with the U.S. Army Department of Defense as clerk typist. Those typing classes in middle school really paid off.
Annual Federal Minimum Wage Rate in 1982 was $2.90 per hour and was raised to $3.30 at the end of that year.
Today, marks my 31st year in working for the USDA Forest Service.
And in total, here's to 40 Years of Federal Service.
