Obscenity at the Bodleian

A new display at the Bodleian's Weston Library.

I have written a piece in The Guardian on the Bodleian's collection of pornographic and otherwise racy and restricted literature, which has been inspired by really interesting research undertaken by a classics scholar from Durham University, Dr Jennifer Ingleheart,# and an Oxford scholar Lloyd (Meadhbh) Houston. The collection was kept together under the shelf-mark Phi from the late 19th century. You can find the article here.
