OBO MENA won second phase of Dubai Commercity project

The OBO MENA team won the second phase of the Dubai Commercity project and will now be part of building the logistic cluster. The Dubai Commercity is one of a few mega projects that are currently built in Dubai. OBO Bettermann is the approved manufacturer for this project to provide technical support ,services and products from all three application areas. OBO delivers underfloor systems, cable support systems and transient and lightning protection systems for the Dubai Commercity. The technical and commercial competence combined with the rapid-response philosophy of the OBO MENA team made it possible to prevail against the well-established global competitors and to secure this project. The project will continue till 2022 when the last phase will be handed over. Material delivery and installation of all OBO products on-site are ongoing. This is also the first project where OBO MENA is supplying the austenitic steel rods from the German TBS portfolio.
