Obituary of Mr. Irv Schein
On the evening of the 10th of October, a great light went out. Irv Schein passed away, very suddenly. I first met Irv in 1996, during a Feuerstein conference. A few years later, I had the great pleasure of inviting and sharing a small holiday with Irv and his dear wife Selma. On the few occasions we had spoken since that time, Irv was always wonderfully excited to hear of any progress I had made with children. To my understanding, Irv Schein was a very honest and a very kind man, who was always deeply passionate in raising the conscious level of every human being he could meet. He was actively involved in ensuring that future generations never forget the unspeakable horrors of the Holocaust. He was actively involved with all manner of education and human development. I happened to speak to Irv a few days before he passed away. When I told him I had managed to finish my book, his only comment was “Wonderful. How Wonderful”. Irv was a wonderful, deeply loving man. Those who met him or knew him will know there will be a small space in their lives that will never be filled again.
The photo shows Irv doing what he liked best. Working very hard to help anyone anywhere. He was a very, very good man.
