OBEY AND BE BLESSED

OBEY AND BE BLESSED

Blessings of God is for them who see, hear and believe and obey. As written obedience is better than sacrifices. God is ready to do new things in your life, but that shall be if you are ready to obey, “REMEMBER THE SABBATH, THE DAY OF THE LORD”. In Isaiah 58:13-14; “If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath,

from doing thy pleasure on my holy day;

and call the Sabbath a delight,

the holy of the Lord, honourable;

and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways,

nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:

Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord;

and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, ..”

HOW DO I KEEP THE SABBATH TO INHERIT THIS BLESSINGS?

On the day of Sabbath, Saturday by Jewish calendar, if your church do not keep it according to work of mercy desired by God, rise up and preach, teach the gospel of liberty of our Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for the sick, visit the fatherless, widows and less privilege and help financially as much as you can.

 You shall not speak your word on that day, but the word of God nor shall you do your will, but the will of God. Jesus said in Matthew 12:12; … “It is lawful to do well on the Sabbath days”.

There are a lot of argument by many Christians on weather the apostles kept the Sabbath. Yes they all do, following the footsteps of Jesus Christ. Read how Paul kept the Sabbath on this remarkable occasion; Acts of Apostle 16:13 “And on the Sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither”.

 Paul search for a prayer ground and end up preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to those he met by the river side.

God spoke through Isaiah, on that day, you shall not speak your own word or do your own will, but to speak His words and do His will.

 So friend, arise from your sleep and make the Sabbath a delight to the Lord, preach the gospel, pray for the afflicted, help the fatherless, widows and less privilege, visit the sick, prisoners and cloth those who are naked. Bring those who are homeless to a shelter.

 Six days is for you to do your work, but the seventh day is for God and that is not asking too much from you. Will you be obedient and receive the blessings of God or refuse to obey and forgo the blessings attached to it. The choice is yours, remember the Day of Judgment and consider.
