Obehi Ewanfoh is a distinguished writer, visionary storyteller, and passionate advocate for the power of personal and cultural narratives. His journey as a writer began in his youth in Uromi, Nigeria, where he authored his first book, Round My Mind, while still in junior secondary school.
Today, he is the proud author of over 10 books, the host of the Obehi Podcast, and the founder of AClasses Media. His latest work, The Storytelling Mastery, is an ambitious five-part book series that guides readers through the transformative art of storytelling.
Obehi's work is driven by a deep commitment to empowering individuals to discover, embrace, and share their own stories. His curiosity about the world around him ignited at a young age.
In 2002, while still in secondary school, Obehi sought to interview the District Police Officer in Uromi after learning about the legal rights surrounding police detentions. This quest for knowledge sparked a lifelong passion for research and storytelling.
This dedication continued after his move to Italy in 2004, where he delved deeper into topics ranging from African identity to the experiences of Africans in the diaspora.
Best known for his podcast “The Obehi Podcast”, Obehi engages in thought-provoking conversations with guests from across Africa and the global African diaspora.
His interviews explore a wide array of subjects, including agribusiness, technology, history, spirituality, digital entrepreneurship, self-mastery, tourism, and the preservation of cultural heritage.
Through his podcast, Obehi creates a platform for sharing knowledge and forging connections across borders and cultures.

In addition to his podcasting, Obehi founded Evideos Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to researching and documenting the presence and experiences of Africans in northern Italy.
His work in this area spans over a decade and reflects his commitment to understanding and amplifying the stories of African communities.
Obehi’s dedication to African identity is also evident in his thought leadership. In 2011, his documentary film, Creating the Blackness of Africa earned an award at the Verona African Film Festival.
The film challenged the simplistic notion of the term "Black" as a descriptor of African identity, urging a more nuanced and profound understanding. This work is complemented by his writings, including his book Crisis of Identity: How to Reinforce Your Personal Identity in 7 Days, which explores the complexities of personal and collective identity in the modern world.
Currently, Obehi is focused on the African diaspora, working tirelessly to build bridges and foster meaningful collaborations within the community. His vision is one of unity, empowerment, and transformation, a vision he continues to bring to life through his books, Podcasts, and other various initiatives.
