Will the battery industry go the same way as OPEC “The Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries” and become OBEC ?“The Organisation of the Battery Exporting Countries” to shape and stabilise the battery market?

?My take is consolidating the battery industry would stifle innovation and entrepreneurship. There is no one battery to rule all. Batteries will also continue to miniaturise much the way the PC market and Phone market have miniaturised as improved chemistry and technology are implemented.
