The Free Market Can Still Overcome The Obamacare Disaster

One of the most difficult decisions that CEOs have to make relates to the cost of medical insurance for their employees. Obamacare has not made things easier, in fact, it's gotten much worse.

Remember the promises that, "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor,” or, "you will save $2500 a year on your medical insurance,” or, "if you make less than $250,000 a year you will not see any kind of tax increase," or, "I will not sign anything that adds one dime to our deficit,” etc.

There are many other broken promises.

Whoever coined the phrase, "The Affordable Care Act" was definitely a politician. It is anything but affordable.

So now you, the CEO, in order to insure profitability, have to deal with the ever-increasing rates and deductibles of Obamacare while helping your employees cover their additional medical expenses that have been forced upon them.

And don’t kid yourself, they think you did it and are to blame. 

It's not a fun position to be in. There are heartbreaking stories in almost every single company of how damaging this has been to individuals and families. In many cases people are not going to the doctors anymore because their deductibles are so high they will never reach any kind of repayment until a catastrophe occurs.

The stress of medical bills is affecting more and more people like never before.

The good news is, we still live in a somewhat free market system as we have not gone completely socialistic yet. That free market has invented a way to help both the CEOs and their employees deal with both of these issues. And in the end, the CEOs are greatly admired for taking the time to find something to help those people who work for them.
