PERFECT OBJECTIVITY IS AN UNREALISTIC GOAL;FAIRNESS,HOWEVER,IS NOT!
John 17:17"Sanctify them in the truth;your word is truth"
Objectivity is defined by the dictionary as the quality or character of being objective : lack of favoritism toward one side or another : freedom from bias.
Since morning,I have been disobeying the voice of the Spirit of God to share something on objectivity. No one is neutral so is always hypocritical to pontificate on objectivity.
I think perfect objectivity is an unrealistic goal;fairness, however,is not.
If any individual or leader will truly succeed in their life's endeavors in leading a nation, church, company or an organization we must listen to fair-minded individuals or objective voices not sycophants or praise-singers.
The text I quoted in John 17:17 says the word of God is truth or factual and Jesus made lots of important statements like,"I am the way the truth and the life;no one comes to the father but through Me"-John 14:6.
#Jesus says He is #truth in a world where we no longer believe in absolute truth because no one speaks on any subject from an objective point of view. However, for you to be a faithful follower of
Jesus Christ you must have no doubt about Jesus and the #word of God.
A true #Christian must believe the #Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative word of God.A true Christian must also believe in the #deity of our Lord Jesus Christ,in His virgin birth,in His sinless life,in His miracles,in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood,in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory!
There is no human #objectivity anymore because of our political, religious, life experiences, tribal or racial interest but if there was one life skill everyone on the planet needed,it was the ability to think with critical objectivity and having a reverence for the God who created all things including we humans!
Meditate on Philippians 3:12-14"Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have laid hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize of God’s heavenly calling in Christ Jesus".
