O3 Mining 2021 ESG Report

O3 Mining 2021 ESG Report

ESG has become embedded in overall corporate strategies for long-term success in the mining industry. Like other industries, the development of mining projects requires the approval of governments, the support of host communities, and minimizing the impact on the environment. Corporate reporting and accountability surrounding sustainability issues is now essential. Over the past 20 years, the mining sector has made significant advances in addressing ESG at the operational, corporate, and Board levels. As a junior mining company with the goal of becoming a world class gold producer, O3 Mining could not be more proud to participate in these crucial initiatives at such a pivotal point in time.

We pride ourselves on being the new generation of exploration and mining companies by being at the forefront of all sustainability issues: we consult our stakeholders early on, we used innovative solutions to protect the environment, and we find opportunities to contribute to Val-d'Or’s economy in order to create long lasting benefits.

On the governance front, the Sustainable Development Committee of the Board of Directors, provides appropriate and specialized Board oversight regarding sustainability matters. Having directors from diverse backgrounds with valuable and in-depth experience brings varying perspectives to the table allowing for greater innovation in creating our projects of tomorrow.?

Since the release of our first ESG report last year, we have remained committed to achieving and surpassing our goals, striving to progress while continually distinguishing ourselves as a responsible exploration and development company.?
