Reflection

I watched the movie Inside Out for the tenth time to try to understand joy vs. sadness again and bring it into my reality.

The contrast brought clarity to the importance of sadness in life and in emotional maturation.

Then I realized that constantly ignoring or trying to hide emotions like sadness led me to a limited and immature understanding of the complexities of emotional life.

The deeper acceptance that our nature is made up of diversity and perfect with good and bad emotions as situations, revealed that I can extract and value the happiness I experience from the contrast.

I really see the importance of light when dark presents itself.

When it becomes "CLARY" then I see and understand.

Then I can feel gratitude.
