O - Business Events and Networking is changing

O is a symbol for Oxygen, but it is also for Opportunity, Open-Minded, Outcome, Organic, Optimism, Offer, Observant, Obvious, and of course Orange!

After a few months of observations, research, conversations and feedback, I've established that networking and business events,?to?help you develop your business, is very much?changing as we all review the use of our valuable time.

I also received very kind feedback relating to my 14 years leading OBCN and my collaborative style to create a trusted, supportive, valued, business community.?Hence why I’m back, energised,?to establish something different and bring forward a new business community ‘O’.?

My objective is to help?breathe new life into your ever evolving business with the support of my work as a mentor?and a like-minded peer group.

“Tell me more about it"? This is a question I’ve been asked at various events in the last couple of weeks since announcing the launch.

As a headline it is a peer group community, supporting each other to make the desired improvements in our business. Each monthly meeting will have a format to develop the members knowledge, know-how, relationships and referral opportunities.

The obvious question next "What's the structure and why is it different?"?

Here’s a proposed outline of each meeting, but?each group will have the final say!

• Arrive 7.30-7.45 for open networking with other members.?
• We will grab a choice of Breakfast rolls at 8.10am for consumption during the opening CPD session.
• For this opening session I will be sharing a thought, tool or tip to explore a strategic area of your business and spark or fuel your thoughts to improve your business.
• Then it’s over to two of the members.? The first to share a ‘tip of the month’? and the second to be that month’s ‘Expert in the room’ -?a Q&A, so that the members find out the information they need or want from the expert, rather than receiving a pitch! It is also the opportunity for the member to demonstrate their trusted expertise rather than present!
• There will also be time for Member introductions, both around the table and also to the whole room.?
• To help other members find referrals for you there will also be the opportunity to ask the room ‘How we can help you’
• Each meeting will also have a roundtable conversation around a common hot topic or challenge.
• The monthly meeting will finish by 10am!

'O' is designed to be?an event for moments of reflection that creates your takeaways and much more.

To help build relationships through the community we will encourage 1-2-1’s and also have optional community and social events.
