New York, New York, USA: Joining the chorus of elected officials, NYC Council member Sandy Nurse, representing Brooklyn's 37th District, called for Gov. Kathy Hochul to remove Mayor Eric Adams due to his "compromised" status to fully represent New Yorker's best interests. "We need a fighter for New Yorkers," she said. Councilmember Nurse joined organizers from New York Communities for Change and rank-and-file New Yorkers in City Hall Park. The organization plans to picket in City Hall Park every day until Adams leaves office.
