NY Law Requires Gun Applicants to Reveal Social Media Accounts

West Virginia Agencies Impacted by Mainframe Failure

A system outage affected some state agencies in West Virginia, including the Department of Health and Human Services. House Technology and Infrastructure Chairman Daniel Linville explained that the mainframe failed when two parts, usually serving as fail-safes for each other, simultaneously failed, according to Government Technology on July 21. Linville said, "It's less so that the technology we're using is outdated, but the means of putting it to use is."
