I put my best age-specific goggles on and weighed the 16 years probable knowledge and reference vocabulary before continuing in a similar fashion to this. As a teacher I find it very important to meet the student within their zone of proximal development or they will just fade away while I'm explaining things to them. Do not correct me if I got it wrong, is the best way to start I guess.
