E1 Boss Talks of Making Boat Racing More Sustainable
The UIM E1 World Championship, the first electric boat racing series, recently held its fifth race at Lake Como, where actor Will Smith's team, Westbrook Racing, celebrated its first win. The championship includes celebrity team owners like NFL star Tom Brady, cricketer Virat Kohli, tennis legend Rafael Nadal, and F1 driver Sergio Pérez.
E1 racing also highlights the rise of sustainable luxury sports as an investment class. A recent Deloitte and Tufts study shows that 79% of investors now have sustainable policies, up from 20% five years ago.
