The Nutrition Short Game Never Works

Making healthy lifestyle changes are never easy to do. You can make it tougher by playing the "nutrition short game."
The "nutrition short game" includes trying to change everything, at the same time.? You can't sustain the "all or nothing approach."
The "nutrition short game" works, until it doesn't. And, it will stop working, leaving you frustrated and back where you started (or worse). If you think of body transformation as a pyramid, here’s what it should look like:
Notice that it’s the opposite of what you usually hear and see in the media.
All?the?“expert?stuff”?—?adjusting?macronutrients,?advanced?nutrition strategies, etc. — is at the top. They’re “nice to have"?but most people don’t need them to transform to fit and lean.
The base of the pyramid — Your Foundation — is what surrounds and sustains you day-to-day and long-term.
So, what can you?do?
??Ignore media reports about eating/losing weight
??Realize that deprivation diets add unneeded stress to your life
? Master the fundamentals of nutritional eating habits
??Eliminate nutritional deficiencies so your body will work right
??Realize that you can’t out-exercise bad eating habits

? There is not a one-size-fits-all eating plan
??Dig in long-term to improve your health and body
????Say NO?to crash diets, starvation diets, diets eliminating a food group, diets you can't maintain long-term, fad diets, elimination diets, detox diets, etc.
????Say YES?to eating foods you need, love and enjoy without dumb rules and restrictions.? This is one of the REAL KEYS to long-term success with body transformation.
In?general,?when it comes to building healthy eating practices, here’s the thing..........
Make healthy eating/lifestyle practices VERY convenient.
Make less healthy behaviors VERY inconvenient (or out of your kitchen/bag/life).
By?simply?changing?your?environment in small ways, you can make changes without even thinking about them. They become automatic as time passes on. You can burn body fat, lose weight and transform your body without spending a dime on products!
After 17 years as a fitness trainer, I'm amazed at the gimmicks and out-right lies about weight loss that businesses sell to the public.
Permanent fat loss and weight loss management takes time, but the nutritional and health practices you build will keep your body lean, strong and vibrant. That's winning the "nutrition long game."
