Cicero Estates are pleased to confirm that in association with a statutory sewerage undertaker, that a solution to offer a tradable nutrient credits for the matter of nutrient neutrality has now received "support in principle" from Natural England.

The solution created by providing additional treatment to a high nitrogen leaching activity will generate 2,000 kg of nitrogen which can be used to offset the impacts of new build residential development within the Solent SPA area.

The solution creates a sustainable way to offer credits without the need to remove agricultural land from food production and will remove the Grampian style conditions that have been applied to a large number of planning permissions across Hampshire.

A charging schedule for credits has been developed and serious enquiries are now invited.
