Nutemp Mechanical Systems takes part in annual fundraiser

Nutemp Mechanical Systems Ltd. recently took part in the 10th annual Pat DuFour Memorial Hockey fundraiser and have been proud sponsors of this event since its inception. This year, Nutemp’ s management team including Kris Neiser, Matt Soyka and Daniel Goulding joined forces with a team from Newfoundland. They along with 15 other teams from across Ontario, as well as numerous sponsors and volunteers, were able to raise $15,000. 

All proceeds go to help children within the Flamborough community. The ultimate goal of this tournament is to raise funds to support area kids with financial assistance so that they may partake in minor hockey. To date this event has raised over $120,000 which has been used to help purchase hockey equipment, pay for registration fees and even ensure that kids have a ride to the rink!

The event takes place annually in loving memory of Pat DuFour who gave so much to his community including countless hours of coaching over his lifetime. To honor Pat and his enormous contributions, a number family members and friends decided 10 years ago that it would be particularly fitting to honour a man who touched so many lives. It is because of Pat that numbers of young children have been afforded the opportunity to play sport and to know what the benefits of being part of a team and the community.   

We also contribute to other charities including Cystitis Fibrosis and ALS.
