Nussle Report: Groundbreaking week for America’s Credit Unions

This week we officially broke ground on America’s Credit Unions, your united, powerful national trade association. Staff met under our new, inspiring America’s Credit Unions logo, and the days were filled with fantastic energy and positive conversations.

We’re excited about what we’re doing, and what we get to do together for the credit union movement.

Our temporary website launched with an overview of how we’re going to advocate for and advance policies that allow credit unions to thrive. The website also features:?

As our teams come together and transformation work really gets underway, I pledge we will remain focused on delivering impact for you, our members. You’ll see our team on Capitol Hill next week as Congress returns to make sure they know who America’s Credit Unions is and what we stand for.

We’ll also remain transparent and responsive throughout the transformation process, and I ask you to hold us accountable to the standards you expect. ?

More from 360-degree advocacy

  • We joined financial services trade organizations calling for a delay and changes to the CFPB’s proposal on section 1033 of Dodd-Frank.
  • Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer, R-Mo., a longtime supporter of credit union-sought reforms to the CFPB, announced he will not seek re-election.
