Nurturing Global Relations The G20 Summit, Olaf Scholz’s Visit, Marcelo Ebrard’s Visit to SUN Mobility facility
As an accelerator in revolutionizing the electric vehicle (EV) industry in India and around the world, we at SUN Mobility are on a mission to create a universal network of interoperable energy infrastructure for the mass adoption of electric mobility and we are constantly transforming the change through our offerings such as Mobility as a Service (MaaS), and Battery as a Service (BaaS).
We understand the need of education and awareness to solve mass adoption of electric vehicles across the globe and are always looking for ways to educate the same, thereby facilitating a transition to a sustainable, pollution-free future. Hence, we ensure that we are constantly collaborating with industry leaders and stakeholders to bring out the best for our users, in India and outside. ?
In February, the G20 Deep Tech Conference at the IISc Incubation Centre in Bengaluru was a fantastic platform to highlight the features and capabilities of our Quick Interchange Station (QIS), and our newly launched SWAP X, using an electric two-wheeler and a Piaggio e-auto that runs on SUN Mobility’s Smart Batteries. Our CEO, Anant Badjatya , and CSO, Anand GCP Ganapathy Chennira , were present at the event to showcase our solutions and educate the delegates on the need for them.
Our displays at the exhibit were woven around the event’s key theme - financial inclusion and exports - through our solutions and their features. Scalability and affordability are at the root of our design thinking process and this in turn helps us take our cleantech solutions beyond geographical boundaries, with ease. Connecting with global leaders such as the President of the European Central Bank, Ms. Christine Lagarde , and the RBI Governor, Mr. Shaktikanta Das at the event proved fruitful as we were able to share our vision for the future, and how it is aimed at impacting the long-term sustainability for the nation.
Continuing our conversations with global change makers, we welcomed the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, and his delegation from Germany at our development Centre on February 26th.
Led by our Co-Founder and Chairman Chetan Maini , and CEO Anant Badjatya, The German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz experienced our battery-swapping solutions firsthand. The conversations gave a very holistic view to the direction the future of mobility is taking. Our leaders discussed India’s cleantech aspirations and how the country is leading the electric mobility transition with cutting-edge work. In fact, Mr. Scholz’s spokesperson felt that innovative concepts such as ours, ‘which are affordable and tailored to the Indian market, are vital when it comes to a global shift towards greener mobility.’

It was an honour to host the delegation during their very brief visit to India, and we were delighted to be the only Indian organization visited by the Chancellor during this two-day trip. ?
Last but definitely not least; we had the opportunity to have Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon , Secretary of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, at our battery-swapping facility in Delhi and watch him in action, swapping a battery, last week. The Foreign Secretary met Rajat Malhan , VP of SUN Mobility, to discuss possibilities for the future.
It was an honor to showcase our innovative solutions and discuss how we can collaborate to accelerate the clean mobility transition.
At SUN Mobility, we look forward to more exciting days, where the focus lies solely on our solutions and our vision of making electric mobility affordable and accessible for everyone across the globe. Here’s to the future.?
