Nurturing Effective Collaboration

The way a machine functions is that it requires an input to provide an output and for it to give you an output, it needs a collection of parts working in tandem. As the different parts function together, there's friction and then there's wear and tear. The least we could do it grease the parts so that they wither less and the best we do is replace a segment.

Now, if I draw you to an analogy of machines with teams in any modern workplace, the function of a team is the same. They have a problem(input) to which they build a solution(output). Like I said earlier, there is always some friction when different people(parts) work together. That's inherently the law of the nature, anything that is in motion erodes at some point in time.

The point I am trying to make is not the fatigue that gets built up, but the greasing that we do to build effective teams. The team building activities, the rewards(grease), the punishments(replacements) that we do, are mostly a distraction to sway the individuals(parts) in the team(machines) for a while and not focus on the underlying principle of the very existence of being. That is, Nature doesn't create duplicates, but every object in the universe has a role to play. The existence of each is interdependent and that gives each one of us a similar function to play, sustaining each other.

I believe, you've got the idea that I am trying to propose. Do wait, tap on it!
