NURSES, The Very Soul of Healthcare

Everyday of the year, regardless of weather, regardless of personal issues, regardless of danger to themselves, these precious jewels of the healthcare industry come to work wanting to have a positive impact upon the lives of others. How do we ever thank them? How did we find them? How do they continue to bring their selfless sacrifice to an industry that never stops changing? How do they persevere during periods of stress and sorrow that would unhinge the vast majority of us mere mortals?

On this Nurses' Day and first day of Nurses' Week 2017, let us each pause and reflect upon how lucky we all are to have the blessing of nurses in our lives. For each of us fortunate to be married to a nurse let us be sepecially thankful for and aware of the very special people they are.
