Numbers Matter: My 50th Article!

This article is my 50th publication on LinkedIn. And that matters. Not just to me, because hitting number fifty makes me feel good. But it elevates my credibility for future writings with unknown readers.
Consciously or subconsciously each person takes note of the number of articles the author has written at the top of the page. LinkedIn has positioned my name, title, company and articles published as the first thing everyone sees prior to my writing. The source of the piece is as important as the writing itself.
Is this author someone who has collected their random thoughts to share once or twice? Or is this someone writing as part of their career? What is their background and knowledge on the subject they represent? Is this read worth my time investment?
In short, there is greater reliability for enriched content from someone who publishes on a regular basis. As a result, I am growing my publications with the belief there is safety in numbers for all fields. I'm in the process of writing my third book and have found greater credibility amongst my peers compared to the release of my first. But for those interested in applying this concept to your own profession, know that numbers matter.
If you are contemplating who to do business with, your chance of making a good decision is on your side when you go with the company that has the greatest numbers. The largest client base does not lie. All of these businesses are making the same choice for a reason. So, you can simplify your process by going with the industry leader.
Therefore, you must know your numbers to sell your product or service. And if your company doesn't have the largest client base, educate yourself on the numbers favorable to your company. Whether it be your local presence, your rapid growth or the savings number the prospect will receive by contracting with you over the industry leader, you must know your numbers. They are important to your prospects whether they voice it or not.
Individually, keep going. Hitting article fifty motivates me to get to one hundred and beyond. Your dedication and passion to improving your craft will always correlate with time. Invest in yourself and your results will show in your numbers!
