"For those who believe, no proof is necessary. For those who don't believe, no proof is possible."—Stuart Chase
People are only scratching the surface to what they?believe?is getting in the way of them moving forward.
It often goes much deeper than that. But you have to be willing to go that deep so things can?REALLY change.
As much as we'd like to think that life happens in black-and-white, well, it doesn't. Our understanding of life is colored by our own?unique set of experiences, history, and perspectives.?We see what we believe.
What really is holding you back?isn't only?your thoughts or behaviors—it's your core beliefs. These core beliefs are what drive?EVERYTHING?in our lives.
At our core, we all have different beliefs about ourselves, beliefs about other people, and beliefs about life.
We're all programmed with a core belief system that serves as a template for how we experience life.
So, let me ask you: what's your take on the world? What are your beliefs? Are they beneficial to you? Are they important to others? Are they worth fighting to hold on to??Or do they need a complete revamp?
At the center of every need—whether it's to communicate something, understand something, heal something, or give something—are beliefs.
These beliefs are the core of our belief systems—the?framework for how we make sense of life.
So, I created a video that dives a bit deeper into core beliefs, and I give you a quick exercise that you can do to begin to change them.
Use the?associated worksheet?with this video to help deepen your understanding.
Remember, your core beliefs have been with you for a very long time. We'll have to get to the root, identify them, challenge them so that we can change them for good.
