Nuclear Science User Facilities Awards 30 Rapid Turnaround Experiment Proposals

The Nuclear Science User Facilities has awarded 30 proposals to support advances in nuclear science and technology by providing access to world class capabilities. These projects total approximately $1.53 million and will be awarded to 20 principal investigators from universities and 10 from national laboratories.
The NSUF selected these projects from a pool of quality proposals. Projects are evaluated on factors including technical approach, mission relevance and scientific-technical merit.
NSUF recipients do not receive direct financial awards. Access to state-of-the-art experimental irradiation testing, post irradiation examination, high-performance computing and technical assistance for the design and execution of projects is provided at no cost to the recipients.
