The Nuclear Question

The Nuclear Question

We have a quick question about Nuclear in Digital Infrastructure!

Please click HERE - it's just 2 questions and takes just a couple of seconds.

The intention is to understand the industry's position and trigger open discussion. We're planning to announce the results at the?NetZero Forum on Sept. 12. and will subsequently share them across our social media platforms. The topic will also be exercised at iMasons Local Chapter meetings around the world.

Thanks,

Simon

I think you are going to be hard-pressed to find communities that will want nuclear power generation in their backyard. It may be the best solution but highly doubt it ever gets deployed.

Fusion may be an option, but suggesting nuclear waste is somehow "green" is trading one evil for another. If we are going to act like a responsible industry, we must seek energy sources that don't threaten our existence.

Absolutely. SMR's could open up a completely new paradigm for deployment models. No water needed, no fossil fuel byproducts, and they have developed a way to harness the energy remaining in spent fuel.
