NTPC Secures Tariff Approval For 1,080 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Projects; TP Renewable Microgrid Partners with NDDB and More...

NTPC Limited filed a petition for the adoption of a tariff for the procurement of 1,080 MW from wind-solar hybrid power projects. These projects are connected to the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) and were developed as per the guidelines for tariff-based competitive bidding issued by the Ministry of Power, Government of India.


TP Renewable Microgrid Limited (TPRMG), a leading solar microgrid company and a wholly owned subsidiary of TATA Power , has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). The partnership aims to integrate renewable energy technologies into the dairy value chain, enhancing sustainability and operational efficiency.


Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has announced the release of a Request for Selection (RFS) for setting up Grid Connected Solar Power Plants. This initiative is part of the solarization of segregated agricultural feeders at distribution sub-stations, with a total capacity of 3205 MW. The power generated will be sold to Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL).


The Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission recently reviewed a petition filed by Rajasthan Urja Vikas and IT Services Limited. The petition sought approval for procuring 500 MW of solar power from SJVN Green Energy Limited. This procurement falls under the Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) Scheme managed by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).


ReNew , India’s leading renewable energy company, inaugurated a significant 400 MW solar project in Rajasthan on Tuesday. This project is part of a larger 600 MW Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signed with the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI), aiming to produce clean energy in the region for the next 25 years.


NTPC Limited has announced an invitation for online bids for a 20 MW Ground Mounted Solar PV Project at the MGR Bulb Area of NTPC Vindhyachal. The bidding process will follow a Single Stage Two Envelope format: Envelope-I for the Techno-Commercial Bid and Envelope-II for the Price Bid, with a Reverse Auction.
