NRA Conference in Review

This month the Garnier-Thiebaut USA team had the pleasure of attending the 2023 National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago, IL from May 20th-23rd. The National Restaurant Association, or the NRA, is the largest food service trade association in the world and serves over 40,000 professionals with industry research insights, training programs, and networking events. As an esteemed member of the NRA, and a committed supplier to the vibrant food & beverage industry, GT USA was honored to present our latest table linen collections to the year's attendees.

Just in time for summer (and peak wedding season), Garnier-Thiebaut USA debuted new styles within the banquets catalog. Some of these pieces are woven in 60/40 Cotton rich for easy care and laundering, each design showcases intricate motifs and exquisite details to celebrate your guests’ most special moments. Our Flore design is ideal for a venue that is looking for a subtle, floral allover pattern that would be a classic look for any event; Our Multiperi design is perfect for venues that are looking for that clean, polished touch with a beautiful, stippled texture; Our interwoven Mini Natte design comes in a variety of strong, bold colors which help with providing more options for how you want to design your event.

In addition, we also have our easy-care, 100% polyester designs that will help make your event a one-of-a-kind experience for your guests. Our new Galet design was inspired by the smooth pebbles that you find by rivers and coasts, its finish suggests a textured shine as if it has been laying in the sun; the new Mirage collection features angled peaks, perfect for venues that are looking for more of a sophisticated contrast; and the understated elegance of Vinci creates the illusion of woven brushstrokes, adding a refined touch to every table. Curated on trend with today’s tastes, the new banquet palette offers Galet, Mirage, and Vinci in white, ivory, grey, or champagne.

In addition to strengthening our relationships with hotel & restaurant partners, the NRA conference proved to be an amazing opportunity to reconnect with our chef partners in the culinary industry.?As a sponsor to both the American Culinary Foundation and The Ma?tres Cuisiniers de France, Garnier-Thiebaut USA recognizes the importance of chefs within our field and is dedicated to servicing their needs. During the height of the pandemic, GT USA launched the “I ??my chef” program to support the restaurant industry with specialty “I ??my chef” kitchen towels learn more about this initiative here. Due to its success, and the community created with partner support, we’ve iterated “I ??my chef” beyond the pandemic, in fact, you might have seen a few familiar faces wearing the prototype of our new “I ??my chef” apron at this year’s NRA.?
