I called Rich Powers today to discuss the upcoming Conference booth selection process for a client, only to learn that now, he too is leaving ILTA. As a long time ILTA advocate, I'm shocked that the new management would allow him to get away, he's been a tremendous advocate for the association and a true 'go to' in the sea of change over these past six months.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not against change, and change was and is needed for ILTA, but I'm particularly confused by this latest move. Rich has worked with the vendor/business partners for years and has tremendous contacts within the member community. His departure from ILTA is a significant blow.

6 年Yes, unfortunately I’ll be leaving the organization I’ve loved for many years. However, right now my job one is to pass the baton and finish up all necessary activities to make sure that all ILTA business partners are taken care of.
