Now what? I lost my job!

Finding ourselves without a #job could be challenging. We could feel concerned about lots of things and a bit lost because our lives, literally, gets upside down from one day to the other. However, things do not need, necessarily, to be like that. On this article, I am bringing to you some #tips to develop a #healthier routine.
First things first: take it #easy! Things will get better, it's just a matter of #when. Yes, I know. Not knowing when makes us being anxious but you should find a way to #focus on what you can #control. Having said that, breath and take it easy with yourself. Some people need a couple of days to #absorb everything that happened while other need a few weeks. It's ok. Understand that, at this moment, YOU are your bigger priority.
You should also stick to a #routine. It's not because you don't have a job that means it's ok to wake up at noon lol. Look what best works for you and design a small plan, like:
7 AM - wake up
8 AM - breakfast
9 AM - gym
10 AM - applying to jobs and networking with people
12 PM - lunch

2 PM - sending messages to friends and invite them for a coffee
Trust me: having something to #wakeup for, even during challenging times, will bring you some sort of comfort during this period.
Now, are you a #father? A #mother? Have #kids ? Needless to say that our priority will ALWAYS be them. So, it's time to design some #tradeoffs. Those tradeoffs could be financially or even personal. You should work with what you have now, thinking in your family's wellbeing and make #daily decisions. I know that selling your car could be tempting for making some money but do NOT make desperate decisions. What if your #nextjob requires a car from you, huh? Think better, think twice and understand your tradeoffs.
Do not over demand from yourself. Stop asking "why me", "why now" and things like that. Trust me, those questions will not make the situation to be any better. Instead of demanding more from you, try to start living one day at a time and to be #thankful to everything. By facing tough moments, you get to know how strong you could be and you HAVE to face things little by little.
Hey, why don't you have some fun? Things that you could never do while you were working because of time? I mean, #basic but #meaningful things. A walk on the street post lunch, a movie in the afternoon after applying to jobs or reading that book you bought on 2011 lol. We all have books we bought and haven't read yet ;)
The thing is: do not put pressure over pressure. We should make it #lighter and not #heavier. And if you get to a point where you have to make harder and tougher decisions....do it. We should avoid them but if is impossible to not do it, then do it. Sometimes, we must take some steps back to get an impulse and give a bigger jump.
Last but not least, look for #people. Look for those you care to talk and lean on. There's nothing wrong with that. Everyone already faced, at least, a very challenging situation in their own lives, so, it's ok to be experiencing what you are experiencing.

9 个月The article shared here is awsome. It happens unfortunately by one side and fortunately by another side, it depends on the situation, but despite it's a tough issue to deal with, the most difficult part of this is to keep calm, even if you saved an enough money, other things are involved on this, as to be improductive at home and seen another colleagues working normally. I read once that to lose a job is the 3rd worse pain in a human being.
