Now is the time for Voltage Reduction !

After years of banging the drum, the Utility Companies are at last admitting that a reduction in Voltage equates to a reduction in Energy Consumption. A really important point is the effect this has on your past, present and future customers PV systems.

All of your customers systems will be using the 'deemed export ' tariff but will subsequently be moving over to be paid for exactly what they export with the introduction of smart meters, quote from Ofgem

6.46. If an accredited installation with a total installed capacity of 30kW or less has an export meter commissioned, the export electricity from that installation will no longer be able to be deemed. FIT licensees should notify Ofgem to update the CFR accordingly.

So your new sales point is to reduce the instantaneous load and increase your export to get paid more money !!
