Now Strategy!

Lots of information , brainstorming, Expert opinion and the new wave of discussion on Digital, Cost Strategy, Focus on customer touch points and map customer journey. One of the areas that I miss to see is that how people who are the building pillars are sometimes ignored. It is the same resource which helped the organisation before 23rd March 2020 and how come the resource become not valuable because of the lock-down.

while organisation has to really think about the profitability and sustainability of the business. It is also important to think strategies on cost saving in totality and not targeting one of the manpower reduction or salary cuts as its key strategy . What is not being consider is that the cost of recruitment, potential business opportunities, cost of retraining, customer satisfaction is the loss for the business when the business goes into growth mode.

NOW Strategy plays a key enabler for the organisation future.

Before we go into the NOW strategy I would like to take you into my personal experience and also learnings from senior leaders in Automotive Industry. Got an opportunity to interact with the SAE International president Cuneyt Oge, SAE International CEO Dr David Schutt Global Advisor Mr Murli Iyer, SAE India president Dr Aravind Bhardwaj.

My journey with SAE started as a student member and I have been active since then. I participated in the SAE World congress which is now called as WCX ( World Congress Experience). The event was funfilled learning experience with lots of motivational sessions and also to know the story of Toyota prius from Takeshi Uchiyamada.He is known as the "father of the Prius" for his role in leading the development of the Toyota Prius, the world's best-selling hybrid electric vehicle in history. I was lucky enough to have a interaction with him during a special session by him

One of the biggest learning from his session is that how do we use our Brain power to resolve the obstacles we face in our personal and professional life. His personal story motivated me a lot to further pursue my entrepreneurship

He gave three badges to everyone and also emphasized that how people are important of any organisation and innovation.

Necessity is the mother of Invention.

Hence during this Covid times organisations are adopting new ways of working and adopting the latest digital tools to be connected and progress with their planning process, status update, discuss on new ideas.

Now Strategy explains

  • How we can make our homes can be turned into product offices.
  • Get more without travelling, balance work life, more productivity
  • How we can maximize the technology and adopt a new working methods.


NOW STRATEGY IS ALL ABOUT INNOVATION : USE OF BRAIN POWER and PEOPLE : Continuous improvement

Hence while defining strategies leaders in the industry should ensure to adopt the NOW Strategy and maximise the output from its most valuable asset : Its Manpower

You can make a business success or failure by the way of strategies with respect to your people.

Take care of your people
Your people will take care of your customers
Your Customers will take care of your Business
