Munich-based artist Christian Klant is a master of handmade, analog photography. Focusing on the wet-plate collodion process, he creates large-format pictorial worlds that seem removed from time and yet are more contemporary than ever.

In a world that consists predominantly of digital and increasingly AI-generated images, Christian Klant's works are a counter-project back to more authenticity. With the visual aesthetics of large-format analog photography, he creates elaborately staged photographs for Brands that are unique and timeless in their style and visual impact.

Christian Klant is a professional member of the German Association of Photographers (BFF), publisher of the BFF Art-Lab podcast,?trustee of ?Stiftung Photographie schwarzwei?‘,?speaker of the German head association for photography (Deutscher Fotorat) and also member of the DGPh. He published his second book “Places of Resonance” in 2022 and has exhibited internationally.
