One of the most important parts of any video production is setting the scene. And where you stand is rather important. So if you’re doing something to camera like I am at the moment ensure that you’re not standing in middle of shot.

Now you may have seen videos where people do. If they work then someone is doing something very clever.

The normal rule of thumb is to make sure that you stand in one-third of shot because that means that you give the rest of shot room to be interesting.
