Compensation: $25 per hour, 25 hours per client per month, up to 10 clients

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and skilled Social Media Content Creator/Designer with proven experience in the firearms industry or related fields for a potential client that we may have coming in. We want to have a social media content creator at the ready to assign the project to. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, hands-on knowledge of firearms, and a passion for creating engaging content catering to firearm enthusiasts and the broader market. This role involves designing high-quality content, static posts, Stories, and Reels, tailored to clients connected with the firearms industry, managing social media profiles, and driving community engagement. Must have experience with doing TikTok and Instagram Live Selling.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Design

• Design 12 professional posts per month for each client, including high-quality graphics, captions, hashtags, and themes tailored to firearm enthusiasts and businesses.
• Create content showcasing firearms, firearm safety, accessories, and industry trends that resonate with the target audience.
• Develop promotional, educational, and community-driven messaging with a focus on the firearms niche.
• Ensure posts reflect relevant industry seasons, product launches, and firearms-related events (e.g., shooting competitions, hunting seasons).
• Use targeted, niche-specific hashtags to maximize visibility (e.g., #FirearmLife, #2ACommunity).

Profile Optimization & Setup

• Optimize profiles (Facebook, Instagram, and one additional platform) with branded visuals, bios, and firearm industry-specific keywords.
• Ensure profiles reflect the client’s brand, including firearm expertise and professional tone.

Engagement & Community Management

• Respond to comments and direct messages up to 4 times per week for each client, fostering positive engagement with the firearm community.
• Actively interact with audience posts to build relationships within the firearms space.
• Handle basic customer inquiries related to firearms, accessories, or services offered.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

• Deliver monthly reports on follower growth, engagement, and content performance specific to the firearms niche.
• Provide actionable recommendations for improving social media strategies based on insights and analytics.

Collaboration & Client Communication

• Communicate with clients to gather firearm-related content, promotions, or service-specific details for posts.
• Stay updated with firearms industry trends, events, and culture to ensure content relevance.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Proven experience in social media content creation, copywriting, and design, specifically within the firearms industry.
• Knowledge of firearms, accessories, firearm safety protocols, and related topics.
• Proficiency with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong understanding of social media trends, firearm community engagement strategies, and algorithm updates.
• MUST be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple client profiles efficiently.
• Must have experience with doing TikTok and Instagram Live Selling.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work managing social media for businesses or brands in the firearms industry.
• Experience with tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or other scheduling platforms.
• Background in social media reporting with analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics).
