Role Description

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks. You will ensure robust and scalable software quality by collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers, and driving continuous improvement in testing processes. Your expertise in automation tools, scripting, and CI/CD integration will be essential for the success of our software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Area:

• Develop and execute automated tests using Selenium.
• Execute test plans and test cases, analyze test results, and report defects.
• Identify, document, and track defects.
• Conduct thorough regression testing on new and existing functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions, providing input for improving testability and maintainability of the software.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the test environments and test data required for automated testing.

Qualifications

Experience:

• More than 3 years of experience in QA engineering.

Hard Skills Must Have:

• Proficiency in Selenium for automated testing.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as Gatling or JMeter.
• Expertise in CI/CD processes and tools.
• Proficiency with GitLab, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Strong knowledge of Git for version control.
• Experience with SQL for database validation and test data management.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (k8s) for managing containerized applications.
• Proficiency in Java for scripting and automation development.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge in automated testing.
• Continuously improve testing processes, ensuring they are up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality software.
