Now Hiring: Senior Accountant (Financial Reporting)

National Real Estate Company that owns, develops, and manages real estate assets has a new opening for a Senior Accountant (Financial Reporting). This is based in their Aventura/North Miami office. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial and accounting information, preparing consolidated financial statements and internal management reports.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with GAAP
• Perform variance analysis on budgeted and actual results
• Perform monthly and quarterly close procedures
• Analyze general ledger accounts and make reconciliations when needed
• Work closely with other departments and business units
• Collaborate with external auditors in the completion of the financial audits
• Perform ad-hoc projects for senior management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or on track to become a CPA is highly desirable
• 3 – 5 years of audit experience from a large CPA Firm or accounting experience from a large company
• Advanced Excel experience
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbally)
