We are a well-funded Y Combinator batch construction SaaS startup driving toward Series A. We leverage blockchain to build trust and accountability into construction projects. Our rapidly growing development team is working hard and fast to build out new product features, scale our platform, and take the company to the next level. Our CEO and founder's massive reach into the construction industry and partnerships with some of the biggest construction companies in the world puts us in a unique and powerful position. We are looking for technical leaders! In this role, you must feel responsibility and ownership over the entire platform, not just your slice.?
You must have a proven ability to zoom from line-level fixation on code quality out to long-term company strategy and know how to reflect business needs in the technical architecture and development process.?
You’ll collaborate with and support our rapidly growing customer support and sales organizations as we onboard new customers.?
You'll be a mentor and consultant for other development team members, and have the ability to lead from within.?
You’ll work closely with product management and the executive team to understand and guide technical direction.
You’ll be committed to maintaining a performant and reliable SaaS infrastructure and won’t hesitate to jump in and address problems, no matter what functional area they’re in or what their cause.
We are looking for full-stack, devops-oriented engineers who embrace the startup mentality -- you own your work, you embrace change, you rise to challenges, and you thrive as part of a diverse team. You love learning and adapt quickly to new languages, tools, and environments. You feel the sense of urgency and have the awareness that some things have to get done right now and that sometimes hours and even minutes matter.

We aim for a sustainable pace for the development team and do not routinely work long hours. However, we are a SaaS tech startup -- this is not a 9-5 job. We all need to be prepared to respond to urgent issues and honor our commitments.

Minimum four years experience. Prior experience at a startup is a major plus!
Candidates must be authorized to live and work in the United States, and either currently living in the United States or willing to relocate.
We are hiring only full-time, salaried employees at this time. We are open to contract-to-hire in special cases, with the understanding that a transition to employee will occur within 2 months.
Our stack is PostgresQL, GraphQL, Node.js and React.js on AWS. We are not fixated on resume bullet points, but rather are looking for engineers with the right mindset. That said, we move quickly. Thus, deep experience with the following is important:
