Now Hiring: Payroll Specialist

A fantastic organization, based in Hollywood, FL, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. The company offers a team-oriented work environment with excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Payroll preparation, processing, and tax reporting for employees in multiple states
• Maintain accuracy of all system-generated direct deposits and checks, including computation and calculation of special checks for overtime, bonus pay, PTO pay, and termination pay
• Prepare journal entries for accounting after each pay cycle and assist with general ledger account reconciliations
• Assist with payroll processing and reporting
• Maintain payroll related legal and regulatory compliance
• Assist employees with payroll related inquiries

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of payroll experience including multiple states
• Strong organization skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
