Now Hiring: Director of Accounting

Our client is a champion in their industry, and they are looking to hire a Director of Accounting for their office based in West Palm Beach, Florida. You will report to the CFO and will assist in helping meet the Accounting and Finance needs of the organization, including supervising a team of 5 accounting professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Direct all aspects of the accounting and finance functions of the company including preparation, analysis, and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial results
• Draft the annual consolidated financial statements and footnotes
• Prepare the annual budget for assigned areas and monthly rolling forecasts
• Review key performance indicators such as budget versus actual and trend analyses
• Perform technical research and documentation in accordance with US GAAP
• Provide training, guidance, and direction to entire accounting department
• Oversee the daily operations including establishing, training, and implementing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Work closely with external auditors throughout the year

Requirements:

• Active CPA license
• CPA Firm Audit experience
• Corporate accounting experience at the Manager level
• Budgeting and forecasting experience
• Large ERP experience
