Now Hiring: Assistant Controller (Remote)

A National construction company is looking to hire an?Assistant Controller?to join their growing accounting department.

This will be a fully remote position for the first 6 months, then a hybrid situation based in the West Palm Beach, FL area.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports and statements
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the general ledger structure
• Support budget and forecasting activities
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll functions
• Manage, review and coordinate tax reporting and filings
• Respond to inquiries from the Controller and CFO regarding financial results and special reporting requests
• Assist supervising a team of accountants

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting
• 3+ years of construction, real estate, or cost accounting experience
• Experience with Sage 300 is required
