Now Hiring: Accounting Manager (Up o $125K)

South Florida Recruiters has been retained by a growing national real estate investment firm based in downtown Miami to identify a hands-on Accounting Manager. This individual will oversee the daily accounting functions for the firm’s investments and activities as well as have direct access to the Partners.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full-cycle accounting process for a portfolio of properties
• Prepare, process, and review monthly close functions and financial statements for each property
• Oversee the billing process and monitor payments from tenants
• Record operating and investment transactions
• Analyze budgets and forecasting activities
• Communicate with outside national CPA Firm, financial institutions, tenants, and property managers
• Respond to inquiries from the Partners regarding financial results and reports, and ad-hoc projects when needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3-7 years of full-cycle accounting experience within the real estate, financial services, or wealth management industry
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with QuickBooks and Yardi will be highly beneficial
