National retailer/e-commerce company is looking to hire a hands-on Accounting Manager to assist the CFO with daily corporate accounting functions. This role will be 100% remote.
You need to have either retail, consumer goods, or e-commerce industry experience to be considered
- Oversee the daily accounting activities
- Prepare and maintain journal entries, balance sheet, and monthly bank account reconciliations
- Perform general ledger account analysis including variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable functions
- Participate in the month, quarter, and year-end close activities
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements including the balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows and related footnotes
- Respond to inquiries from Management regarding financial results and special reporting requests
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA is highly preferred
- 7+ years of corporate accounting experience
- Retail, consumer goods, or e-commerce industry experience
- QuickBooks experience
