Dynamic, private equity firm located in Miami, FL has a new opening for an Accountant (Staff or Senior). This role is available due to growth and will report directly to the Corporate Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end close procedures and financial statement analysis
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepare intercompany reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain journal entries
• Reconcile general ledger accounts in QuickBooks
• Provide support with the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Review and reconcile expense reports and prepare 1099’s
• Provide support during the external audit processes and assist with investor relations
• Assist the Controller with ad-hoc projects and accounting issues when needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• QuickBooks and Excel experience
