Now, Can Anyone Keep Up With Relentlessly Developing Repair Parts?
I’ve said it before: these aren’t our parent’s forklifts out there in the lumberyards and warehouses. What they can do, and what they prevent from happening, requires technology and ever-increasing levels of advanced training, continuous learning, data-driven decisions, and collaborative efforts. Last week we looked at an off-brand part supplier launching a network of technicians. Technicians that each day are more hobbled than they were the last. The techs you and we count on are being constantly trained to remain current with what is coming off the forklift assembly lines. Without support from those OEM providers, a tech would be relegated to replacing broken parts. Troubleshooting would be his or her worst nightmare. Technicians in my mind are darn close to doctors that are general practitioners. If you find that hard to believe, ask your dealer to sit in on the next technician meeting where they cover the updates from just that last month or two. You’ll be singing a different tune after that.
There are some incredible new features that our forklifts will be equipped with. They have a clever method of conserving energy while braking and then utilizing it for a power boost later on. Additionally, drivers now have the convenience of monitoring fuel and maintenance requirements with ease - quite useful, isn't it? All these enhancements are increasing both the speed and safety of work!
Do you know what's incredible? An increasing number of businesses are transitioning to electric forklifts! They are extremely quiet, very durable, and they are good for your budget and the environment because they do not cause pollution. They are also great for indoor tasks - they can easily fit into small spaces without any trouble!
And we now have autonomous forklifts! They resemble tiny warehouse ninjas, maneuvering past obstacles and discovering the most efficient paths without any assistance. This allows our fantastic employees to concentrate on other crucial duties. Many warehouses are already reaping the rewards of these smart machines!
These new forklifts are extremely intelligent machines! They excel at finding the most efficient methods for transportation, preventing accidents, and identifying possible concerns early on to prevent major issues. It's similar to having a supportive friend who ensures everyone's security while also saving money!
