Now Arriving...and Departing

Picture standing in front of one of those giant displays at airports and train/bus stations that list ARRIVALS and DEPARTURES. Nearly every gate offers a perpetual cycle of both. So it is with each day, each moment, each decision. Wherever you are now, you have arrived from somewhere, and you are heading somewhere.

Take a moment to reflect on how you got here, and how far you’ve come. Celebrate your progress and give thanks for God’s provision and grace. Learn from your mistakes so you can make wiser, more informed choices about which gate to choose next. Every “rest stop” along the way is an opportunity to evaluate, recalibrate, and activate your will and your faith. Sometimes, you will have layovers (planned and unplanned), but you sure don’t want to be camped out at a “terminal” any longer than necessary!?

Embark on your adventure. Enjoy the excursions. Expect (and even embrace) the unexpected. "ALL ABOARD!"
