Our battery system is an essential element in our motorcycle. The BMS (Battery Management System) monitored lithium-ion battery has a nominal voltage of 100 V and an energy quantity of 5.4 kw/h net capacity. (6.4 kw/h gross)

Integrated Design

The battery is a specially designed system for the Novus One, which forms a functional unit with the aluminum chassis. The battery-chassis unit is then tightly bolted to the vehicle frame.

Battery Specs

We install 21700 cells to generate a perfect fit, which is installed in the lower area of the monocoque in the most space-saving way possible and protected by the carbon cell. With 5.4 kw/h we have been able to achieve a comparatively high power density.

We deliberately decided against a battery that could be replaced by the customer. Because of the high voltage level of the powerful lithium-ion battery and its own weight of approx. 30 kg, this is no longer suitable for manual removal. The fixed installation of the battery saves significant installation space and weight.

Novus Charger

There are three different chargers for the bike. A standard charger with 2kw is delivered with each bike. Optionally you can order a fast charger with 3kw and charge the battery system to 80% within 90 minutes. With the NOVUS Loader you always have your charger with you in case of doubt, because you can simply place it in the frame protrusion. When you are not using the loader in your vehicle, you can simply hang it up next to your NOVUS like a wallbox.

You can use the charger at any standard 220 V socket.
