Novir From A Staff Perspective

When my journey first began with Novir in October of 2021, our main work was supporting schools in the fight against COVID-19. Since then, Novir has grown and expanded to offer so much more to the communities we serve, such as lead testing, immunizations, event testing, and remote proctoring. We are striving to shift our collective understanding of healthcare by providing preventative healthcare services for anyone anywhere. By expanding our knowledge of what we know healthcare to be, we are reducing the strain on traditional healthcare pathways and that is for all our benefit.

“Community” can be defined as a group of people having common interests. We have been enabled to foster and fortify communities determined to keep kids healthy and safe, and that alone has been incredibly rewarding work. Through reassurance, a weekly testing cadence, and a lot of solution-based thinking, we reached an average of 4,000 tests per week across all of Colorful Colorado in the last academic school year. Our success can also be seen and heard in the bouncy excitement of all the students eagerly lining up to be tested, and the feedback of relief from school staff when we are able to prevent outbreaks in their classrooms. During all our diligent work, we have also cultivated our own community within our organization of diverse people with the common interests being teamwork, public safety, and making a positive difference in the world. Alexander, our CEO and founder, ardently dubbed all of us Novirians, instilling a strong sense of pride in the incredible work we do.

Our success and headway have not been without adversity, and we Novirians still have a lot to learn, grow and adapt to. Trailblazing demands facing uncertainty, innovation, and grit. We have curated a culture of perseverance, camaraderie, and hard work. Together, we have accomplished so much and together we will continue.?
